I became a mother 11 days before my 18th birthday.

I had been pregnant only 25 short weeks when my labor began,

and my baby was earthside, in the NICU.

I was at once immensely grateful for modern medicine,

and also began to question everything.

That tiny 1.3 lb, fiercely determined, little person changed the trajectory of my life, and expertly set me on a grand path.

I trust birth. I trust the bodies that give birth, and I know that birth is safest when women and birth givers stand fully in their own power, and when their partners are empowered in their authentic roles. This is why I endeavor to offer education, first and foremost to birthing families, that they may truly know and understand their birthright to sovereignty in their experience.

To hold the hands and hearts of people about to become parents, look them in the eyes, and remind them they CAN lean into their instincts. That they are WISE, and POWERFUL, and that they have CHOICES.

When A family hires me as

part of their birthing team,

we begin to buid a relationship

based on a mutually

held vision of their birth experience.

Trusting birth, together we find the deeper questions about

how to walk into the unknown. What do we need? What no longer serves?

It is an intimate dance to be a doula. I will be with a family through some of their most vulnerable, transformational, and emotionally tender times.

These are waters I tread with the upmost reverence and respect.

These are sacred times.

I have served over 100 families as their doula, and hundreds more via our Sacred Pregnancy retreats, ceremonies, and postpartum experiences.

Watching as women become mothers on their own terms, fathers become archangels-enveloping their beloveds in their protective embrace. Watching little ones rise to their callings as big brothers and sisters.

This is to stand at the most holy of gates.
